A rather simple little logic game where the object is to link up the stars according to the numbers contained therein. The number inside the star indicates the number of other stars that must link to it, so your task is to figure out which stars must link to which other stars in order to satisfy the current level’s rules. Only when you are done can you tap the “Done” button to see if you’re right. To get you started though there is a hint mode which will change a star’s colour when the correct number of stars are linking to it, so you can check your progress as you go.
The graphics are pretty nifty in a classroom chalkboard sort of way, so that is at least well done. The unfortunate thing though is that this lite version contains only one 4×4 level and one graphical theme, and since the levels are not randomly generated, once you’ve played that first level, which takes all of about two minutes, you’re done with it. The $0.99 full version contains 3 themes (fruit and baby animals) and 3 game modes (3×3 to 5×5), plus a 9-stage arcade mode (which I presume takes you through all 3 themes and game modes in sequential order.)
Not a bad game, though once you’ve completed them all there’s not much point in ever playing again until you forget the solutions. If the game were able to randomly generate levels it would have virtually unlimited replay value.
