To put it succinctly: It’s Mastermind with words. Guess words, and the game will tell you how many letters (if any) are correct in yellow, and which (again, if any) are in the correct position in red. You get 25 attempts, and can scroll through your attempt history to refresh your memory as to which words you’ve already tried.
You start off with a score of 100, and for every incorrect guess the game will deduct 4 points. If you manage to play enough games to achieve a cumulative score of over 1,000, your score will automatically be submitted to a leaderboard for global ranking on both total score and scoring average.
Graphically it’s quite a well done little game — except for the splash screen, which is a bit blurry and plain. Still, it’s actually rather addictive — much moreso than Mastermind, which on the whole I find rather dull. But then I do rather like words…
…no, I am not going to make the obvious lame joke. Even I have standards.
