In light of October being Domestic Violence Awareness month, here’s very simple app that displays a purple ribbon for you to show your support and solidarity for victims of domestic abuse. Additionally, it will display one of 31 random facts about domestic abuse, and an option to donate to People Against a Violent Environment, a non-profit based out of Wisconsin that helps victims of abuse and raises awareness of the subject.
No snark this time. Domestic violence is a serious issue, and anything that can contribute to awareness is A-OK in my books, no matter how simple it is.
